To empower poorest and vulnerable communities to deal with their own resources and practices, for seeking sustainable livelihood, quality education, improved health, hygiene and adequate nutrition to all, especially women and children for a dignified living.

GMKS has developed a training module to train village volunteers, adolescent boys and girls, SHG members and health workers.
Our Adolescent health training programme covers the followings aspects:

• Vision for adolescent girls and their present status
• Understanding about self, role of family and community, understanding changes during adolescence: health & hygiene, puberty and growth, marriage, partnership and parenthood (legal age of marriage, use of health facilities, etc.)
• Gender and its implications during adolescence
• Life skill education, its meaning and importance in the growth of adolescents
• Reproductive and sexual health
• Role of health coordinators, education coordinators, teachers, social and community workers, panchayat and non-government organizations in facilitating adolescent development
• Action plan -innovative programmes for adolescent health and development
