Food
for Community Development:
FFCD,
is one of the core and continuous programme
of GMKS, started in the year 1985 to support
the poor people with food grains, and against
that they voluntarily contribute in developmental
works such as soil and water conservation,
water shed development, livestock development
etc during severe drought situation in the
region.
This helps the poor people to fulfill their
nutritional requirements, specially young
children and women. The programme has been
covering 40 villages and 30,000 of tribal
population.
The major objective of the FFCD programme
is to enhance the capacity of poor and marginalized
people and to mitigate their daily requirements
during the season.
